My bet is that the guy that got cheated on is loaded and that's why the cheater is pissed. She lost the hypergamy jackpot.

I'm betting on that she's pregnant with the alpha's baby and is about to lose her BB.

Haha, most definitely. Some guys started betting on reddit gold in the original thread if she was pregnant or not.

Twenty bucks says he's divorced after his ex-wife cheated on him and took everything in the wake.

That man rejects bullshit with authority. I'd happily buy a cup of coffee at his shop.

I'd happily take you up on that bet. Just saying that is a hell of an assumption.

He will only be here another year cause he becomes an RN next year he's going to work in ER so unfortunately he will be gone. His wife is LVN she is nice too. They both like to help people.

I would like my 20$ now please ...

OP comments in the last update:

Word has spread that my ex and I broke up so I have some girlfriends that want to hang out this summer. I think I will have dates. Plus I have been saving money for this car that I will probably get very soon. It has no upholstery but looks nice other than that. My older sister said she'll pay for the upholstery. So that will help a lot with dating.

This 17-year old shows promise.

Did you catch this?

My girlfriend broke up with me right after that. So I decided to just concentrate on finishing the school year strong. There are other girls that I have possible dates with but losing my girlfriend is hard.

He's on the right track. Focusing on himself first, abundance mentality even in the face of how hard it was losing his girlfriend. Sounds like a great kid.

If the boss hadn't been overseeing this whole thing, this kid would have been getting fucked from every possible angle. The odds were completely stacked against him. You have:

      • The cheating hamster slut creating a new reality where she's the victim (and everyone's believing it)
      • The guy she cheated with, helping her maintain her version of the story and beat the kid's ass if he has to
      • The kid's girlfriend, who took the slut's side too
      • The slut's angry dad believing that his princess would never cheat and that this kid was spreading ugly rumors
      • The fiance, S, who would presumably be in the same boat as the dad
      • Whoever the slut's "friends" were, and whatever they were planning (presumably beating the shit out of the kid)

Funny how eager people are to take the woman's side of any story. This poor kid did a good thing, and he could have gotten severely fucked up from it. Beaten up, socially ostracized, fired from his job, kicked out of high school... who knows what could have happened to him?

The cheating hamster slut creating a new reality where she's the victim

She tried to fucking gas light him, but it didn't work.

This whole story is insane if true. The woman blames the kid for everything that is happening to her, even go so far as to try to do something bad, whatever that may have been.

The slut's angry dad believing that his princess would never cheat and that this kid was spreading ugly rumors

That is one manipulative bitch. She knows she is in the wrong but yet goes about manipulating everyone into believing that the kid is just an evil man who is spreading lies. I bet her ex-fiance was one hell of a beta provider and she is pissed she is missing out on that.

In societies where men are actually privileged, a female witnesses, even to their own rape, are considered less than a male witness. Here in the West it's opposite except this bias is implicit instead of encoded in law.

I think it's more likely that he thought she was a little princess and would never slut around. If word gets out that she's a total slut, he gets labeled as a piece of shit father. He's afraid of facing the truth.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think back in the day, if she would have slutted out, her father would've disowned her for bringing shame to him like that. Not a lot of fathers would do that now. Or even sit her down and set her ass straight.

I get this shitty feeling that OP's (now) ex girlfriend claimed that he raped her (or something like that) because her sister and whoever else told her to say that to the cops to "get back at him". Fuck man.

That would be the stupidest action of them all in this case (but not beyond imagination.) OP has a fuckload of text evidence and witnesses. She could say he raped her butt and gave her buttbabies, but at this point nothing is going to stick.

That's what I inferred when I first read it, but in the comments it was clarified that OP's family called the cops because of the threat against OP that his ex warned him about. So thankfully it doesn't seem like he's being accused of committing a crime, and the cops are responding to the threat against him.

The cheating girl is probably spinning some ridiculous yarns to her enabler father, and he's eating it all up. This isn't something you did wrong, that cheater is poisonous. She will destroy everything and everyone around her to keep up an image that she is pristine and clean, when in actuality she is as dirty and useless as they come. You saved S big time. Whatever happens, the cheater is doing this bc you exposed her for the piece of trash that she is and she panicked. You've done everything right so far, and that boss of yours knows it too and couldn't be more supportive. Very curious to see what these mindless friends of the cheater want to try pulling. Good thing the cops are involved, hopefully they aren't morons.

Meh, I think the ex-GF was manipulated in this. Her sister got to her first, and when the OP didn't give his side of the story straight away, the sister spun her own story that the ex-GF took as truth.

But, when the shit started getting out of hand, she contacted the OP and let him know he was in danger.

If she overheard a conversation between her sister and the ex-fiance that went something like "It was just a kiss" "Bullshit, I saw the video", then maybe she's come to the realisation that by believing her lying sister, she lost out on a boyfriend who, to me, sounds like a decent, respectable lad who will grow into an outstanding man.

              Wow. What a story.

Sometimes people here will come and ask something like, "I just found out one of my plates has a fiance, should I tell him he's marrying a cheating slut?"

This story tells you why that might not be a good idea. Sure, in a better world, we should be able to just rat out the cheater, help a bro out, and everything will be fine.

But unfortunately we live in a world where women don't want to be held accountable for their bad decisions, and can unleash their beta white knight army upon anyone who dares to commit her even the slightest wrong. Hell has no fury like a woman scorned, as they say.

This poor kid did the right thing, and now a bunch of morons are planning on kicking his face in. Fortunately the cops and responsible adults are involved, but who can say if they can keep him protected?

Look at all the actors in the story who he was up against.

(Copy pasta'd from a previous comment)

                  • The cheating hamster slut creating a new reality where she's the victim (and everyone's believing it)
                  • The guy she cheated with, helping her maintain her version of the story and beat the kid's ass if he has to
                  • The kid's girlfriend, who took the slut's side too
                  • The slut's angry dad believing that his princess would never cheat and that this kid was spreading ugly rumors
                  • The fiance, S, who would presumably be in the same boat as the dad
                  • Whoever the slut's "friends" were, and whatever they were planning

Keep in mind that all these people, many of whom are fully grown adults, are up against a fucking 17-year-old highschooler.

Is that really a conflict which you would want to engage in? Let's look at what the potential consequences could have been.

                  • Social ostracization: since everyone obviously wanted to take the cheating slut's side, she could socially blacklist him - spread rumors, make everyone hate him, etc
                  • Lose his relationship, which actually did happen
                  • Lose his job
                  • Getting beat up by the hamster's friends
                  • Get kicked out of high school
                  • Maybe a false rape claim from the ex just so she could get in on the victimization action

There are any number of horrible things that could have happened to this kid because he came forward with the truth. Sure, there are fights you have to fight in life, but you have to choose them wisely.

Get into a conflict when it's necessary. You shouldn't actively try to seek them out.

The fiancé actually dumped her after seeing the evidence OP and his boss had. The fiancé actually checked up on OP after the police came to OP's school, so the fiancé seems to be a good guy.

Though you are right, no need to get involved in every conflict.

There's no getting involved here. It took place at his work. He's already involved. Pretending otherwise is the ultimate expression of a conflict-avoiding mentality.

I mean, if I murder someone at your house are you going to be a cool bro about it or are you gonna call the cops?

Yes, and that's the main problem with everyone here saying "LOL the silly boy shouldn't have gotten involved in the first place!"

He already was involved. The cheating sister was already asking to talk to him before he said anything!

Ultimately, if the sister had kept her stupid mouth shut none of this would have happened. The boy seemed to have decided that it was best to not say anything, it was the sister telling the GF and freaking out that brought all of this upon her.

I'm not saying he shouldn't have gotten involved. I'm agreeing with /u/gekkozorz that, in general, it is unnecessary to get involved in every single conflict since it definitely could end badly. In this situation, I think that the 17 year old boy acted in the best possible way given the situation. He deferred to his elders and stuck to his guns.

While true, that concept DOES NOT APPLY here.

Entertaining the notion of getting involved, when you are already inherently involved is an expression of conflict avoidance.

I agreed with him and I think the boy acted in the best possible way.

Bingo. There's a difference between being brave and being stupid. And accusing a woman of anything in this betafied white-knight culture is pretty damn stupid.

"Sure, I got fired, beat down, falsely accused of rape, and ostracized from both my family and my community, but at least I saved that guy from marrying a cunt! At least I have morals! Go, me?"

He didn't get himself involved in anything, the cheating sister caused all of these problems.

It seems like the boy was just going to keep his mouth shut and feel guilty before, but the cheater started asking to talk to him literally before he even got off of work.

So the only way he could have "not been involved" was to agree to the cheater's gaslighting, and that's not really the right decision to make either.

I think that ultimately his response to the cheater was the best "That's not what I saw, but it's none of my business so I'm not going to say anything." At that point all of the problems that followed were because the cheating sister stirred shit up and dragged him into it, not because of anything he did.

He only decided to tell the fiance after the cheating sister wouldn't let things alone/the girlfriend broke up with him because of this.

So instead you act like a betafied white-knight and pretend that you didn't see anything?

If you've ever wondered how our culture got so pussified, this is exactly how it happened.

No, it became pussified because no one is willing to accept the fact that a woman can do wrong (and also because kids are being raised to believe they're all special snowflakes and everybody's a winner, but I digress).

The culture has been pussified. That ship sailed a long time ago, these are the repercussions. Feel free to be Capt. Save-A-Bro all you want to, just remember that women don't have the same rules of honor that you do, they have a lot more tools at their disposal, they can fight dirty, and you stand to gain absolutely nothing from "winning" this fight.

What, pray tell, do you expect to gain from the noble crusade of ousting a cheating woman, Don QuiBrote?

Eh no. In America we've believed that women can do no wrong since at least the 1700s. It's only been in the last 30 or so years that men have degenerated into the shoulder-shrugging pussies they are today.

I really thought my generation, Gen X, was pathetic. But these Millennials are even worse. They are scared to even engage in conversation let alone any sort of conflict. OP being an obvious exception.

Seeking conflict? Seriously? The woman brought the conflict into his place of work. What is he supposed to do, deny reality? And he get's what? To continue dating the slut's kid sister?

It's Memorial Day weekend. When you go out look around you, everything is you see is there because men, younger than this kid even, engaged the conflict that was brought to them. Because even death didn't deter them from facing reality.

As a matter if pragmatism, being careful is advisable. If he didn't have any backing or evidence, would you suggest he still do the fiance a solid? If I knew someone would fuck up my life in a hot second without so much as a blink, I'd hold my tongue until/unless my cards were good enough.

Not that I would do nothing. I would just wait until I had what I needed. This kid is in a beneficial situation because she was caught, on tape, with several witnesses, and his boss is a hell of a guy. Without that backup, I'd bide my time.

That said, while my Machiavellianism is less than others, holding this evidence until after the wedding or using it to my advantage is viable too.

It's always better to be the "alpha fucks" and not care what a woman is doing with her other relationships. You don't care, neither does she. The hamster works in your favor.

I'd like to say this is uncommon but it's typical. Your best bet is to make it to the sexually desirable class of men and enjoy the proceeds.

We have a saying in Swedish which goes "Tala är silver, tiga är guld." Which translates to "Speaking is silver, silence is golden." I feel that in such situations it can be applicable. For example, I've been in such a situation before. I picked up my brother after work late one night and we stopped at the gas station for some stuff, and when we're in there we see this lady from our extended family who's married with children etc, but she's there with a much younger man than her husband (she's maybe 40, this guy maybe 25). Note that I didn't really care at all at this time, but as soon as she noticed us, she disappeared, while the guy finished shopping. If it hadn't been at like 11pm-12am ish I wouldn't have given it much thought, but it was fairly obvious that she was cheating so

In the end, I have no relation to her husband and since she's good friends with my sister I haven't done anything about it. It simply is not worth the hassle

The saddest part is that the relationship the barista had with his girlfriend was severely imbalanced. And despite that nobody thinks it is abusive, our culture tells betas to celebrate and be gratefull, if they "get any" regardless of how misarable they are.

Bitches be crazy, but our society doesn't even give young men a chance.

Wait, why were the police involved? No crime was committed here unless either S or the ex's father were getting a disorderly for their chimp outs in the coffee shop?

                    Read the last log again.

This morning at school I got a text from my ex that said please don’t go to work tonight because my sister’s friends are planning something. I asked her what and she said just please don’t go and that she loved me.

He told his dad at that point. Though not stated, it's implicit that his dad called the cops. And the ex-gf who sent the warning would of course be asked to explain.

Wait.. Man if the chick had just let it be after the first conversation, she would have been fine. Talk about digging your own grave. But Why did the girlfriend break up with him? There is no explanation. And why was she in the office with cops? There is no explanation.

DAMN IT I NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS ENDS!!

But how is the boyfriend spreading rumours since he didnt even say anything? He kept his mouth shut till the sister couldnt let it be n all that. I doubt the girlfriend didnt even come n listen to his side of the story.. (but who knows.. Its not clear).

This guy is actually walking a thin line. He did he right thing and did nothing wrong but the cops are involved for whatever reason (when they shouldn't). Plus they took his phone which is sketch.

I think he'll come out ok but he'll be accused of rape or something.

I think they took is phone to check that his ex texted him about her sister's friends 'planning something' after she told him not to go to work. Cops are probably involved because of that, on the OPs behalf.

I applaud that young man for having the courage and discipline to stand his ground, even when his whole world is turned upside down.

                      Very impressive.

Okay, who wanna take a bet? The condition: The video's of the shop is going to be used as evidence and it leads to:

                        * a. the video is going to be excluded as irrelevant
                        * b. the guy is going to get the blame because of the video
                        * c. the video is going to end the dispute, however the guy getting a lot of threathening texts.

May I argue the principle here without reading?

Hamsters will find a partner, cuddle with a partner, and mate with a male hamster. But after baby hamsters are born, the female turns viscous against the male hamster and kicks him out.

This still exists in us humans now too.

I raised and sold about 100 hamsters as a kid.

Sometimes, I feel smug about living in Canada and not having to deal with this shit. Then I remember it's only a matter of time before America leaks and this shit becomes the norm here.
